Born in Tehran in 1971 and now based in Ankara, her works — spanning abstract, watercolor, and pastel — are explorations of mood, memory, and the silent language of color. She has participated in international art exhibitions in both Iran and Turkey.

زهرا مقدسی با بیش از سه دهه تدریس هنر و طراحی، عمق نادری از تسلط فنی و شهود عاطفی را به بوم‌های نقاشی خود می‌آورد. متولد ۱۳۵۰ در تهران و مقیم آنکارا، آثار او — شامل آبستراک، آبرنگ و پاستل — کاوشی در احساس، خاطره و زبان بی‌صدای رنگ هستند. او در نمایشگاه‌های بین‌المللی نقاشی در ایران و ترکیه شرکت کرده است.

İran ve Türkiye'deki uluslararası resim sergilerine katılmıştır.

Biography

A Life Devoted to Art

1971

Born in Tehran, Iran. Showed an early passion for drawing and visual arts from childhood.

1990s

Completed formal education in Drawing and Visual Arts. Began teaching art in Tehran, inspiring hundreds of students across more than three decades.

2000s — 2010s

Participated in international art exhibitions in Iran, gaining recognition for her expressive abstract and watercolor works.

2020s

Retired from teaching and relocated to Ankara, Turkey. Participated in international exhibitions in Turkey and launched her online gallery to reach collectors worldwide.

Artistic Vision

Art is not what you see, but what you make others feel

Each painting begins as a conversation between the artist and the blank canvas — a dialogue of silence, instinct, and intention.
